Our Story
Dr. Lana Kay Coble, Ed.D, FAIC, CPC, was a construction executive and architect, and educator, where she worked with thousands of people and understood the use of light in every project.
She is currently an astrologer, and photographer whose career weaves together complex project delivery, depth psychology, and the creative eye. She is also the founder of Up Up Uranus Astrology Consulting and Zilla’s Zoom Photography Services, reflecting a lifelong commitment to insight and visual storytelling.
Zilla’s Zoom Photography Services
Dr. Coble’s photography journey began in 1972 with film cameras, where she learned exposure, composition, and darkroom development from the ground up. Early services included portrait, event, architectural, and landscape photography, emphasizing strong lines, natural light, and authentic expression. During her architectural construction career, she used her photography skills to document her projects for 48 years. In 2016 she transitioned into digital photography and expanded Zilla’s Zoom Photography Services to include abstracts, birds, butterflies, cityscapes, sports, astral and night‑sky work, and sunsets, bringing a precise, observant, and often contemplative style to each image.
Zilla’s Zoom Photography Services now offers custom photographic work for individuals, events, and organizations, as well as fine‑art images suitable for print, web, and educational use. Whether capturing wildlife, the arc of a golf swing, or a twilight skyline, she approaches each assignment with the same disciplined eye she applies to construction projects and charts: attentive to pattern, timing, and story.
Speaking, writing, and teaching
Across all three domains—construction, astrology, and photography—Dr. Coble is a teacher at heart. She has written and spoken extensively on construction planning, scheduling, and risk, developed curricula and training programs for both students and professionals, and mentored new practitioners in the field. In astrology, she teaches Western and vibrational astrology, showing students how to synthesize harmonic insights with traditional techniques to give clients richer, more nuanced interpretations. In photography, she shares her experience with both film and digital workflows, encouraging others to see structure, movement, and meaning through the lens.
